Overview

boin is a line. is an experimental NFT project born from a simple yet provocative question:

Is the moment we perceive “boin” (a charming or sensual chest) actually created not by the body itself, but by a single line drawn by the gaze?

In this project, participants are presented with an abstract, anonymized base image of a chest.
They are invited to draw a single black line where they personally perceive the “boin” to be.
This act transforms their interpretation into a unique generative artwork that can be minted as an NFT.

Concept

“A chest exists in as many ways as there are people who look at it.”

— Where is your boin?

The word “boin” carries overlapping meanings: sexuality, cuteness, power, shame, pride, or even just graphic abstraction.

But is “boin” an innate quality of the body?
Or is it a projection — a fleeting illusion brought into being by the gaze of the observer?

This project doesn’t aim to depict the body, but rather to visualize where each person chooses to draw the boin,

revealing the contours of the viewer’s own gaze, subconscious, and desire.

Mechanism

1. Base Image: An abstract, pixel-style or monochrome torso illustration

3. Act of Drawing: The viewer clicks once to place a single horizontal line where they “see” the boin

5. NFT Generation: The resulting image can be minted as a unique NFT
